Barry Scheck on Todd Willingham and Rick Perry

This is a very compelling video, in relation to Texas Governor Rick Perry. Very surprised that this matter was never really fully investigated. Wow...

Here is, from what I understand, a freshman congressman by the name of: 'Alan Grayson', who I am developing allot of respect for. I had previously posted, (either here and/or on one of my other sites) another video where he is grilling Fed Chairman Bernake about billions of dollars in missing TARP funds!

Michael Moore's First Official Visit Inside General Motors Headquarters

Did not want to leave off with the last negative blog, as the most recent post. I really dig Michael Moore anyway. Thought this video was worth posting here, regarding the various premieres that now seem to be happening in anticipation of the release of his new movie...

Did Syko Sam act alone?

Rather reluctant to blog about this, because it so depressing, and sick. (As if some of my other blog posts weren't depressing enough). This one, is regarding a very disturbing story on the comcast.net 'News' page today, about a suspect in 4 Virginia killings, who is an "aspiring rapper in the underground horrorcore genre, which sets violent lyrics to hip-hop beats", and who went by the name of 'Syko Sam' on his MySpace Web page, but whose real name is: Richard Alden Samuel McCroskey III. One of the reasons I was so interested in this very disturbing story, is a personal one; And have indirectly known individuals, who have that same type of chilling, psychological profile; Not unlike, the individual whose MySpace page I visited today - http://www.myspace.com/samissyko
(I'll leave it at that). Yet, I never-the-less, wanted to check-out the validity (and accuracy) of the story for myself. What I found was very shocking, to say the least. Which you can see and hear for yourself, as well. I mean, regardless of the fact that this very disturbed individual was actually spelling out the details of what sounds like his planning and/or involvement in either one, or several murders, I also found interesting, the title and lyrics to the song: "Sick Minds Think Alike". Dig it! Because, I was also amazed by all the friends who seemed to share this guy's views on his MySpace page! I mean, let me tell you something. I certainly wouldn't friend a sick f_ck like that! Would you? (Excuse my language). His website and music pretty much seems to say it all, though. Now, I am not saying that is definitely the case regarding this crime. That there is more then one person involved, that is. I do not know enough about this story at this time to determine that. But what I am saying, is that, I would not be surprised if that was the case. Even though, that may not be what they finally tell us. Take it from me, and from experience: It's always the way! What I also find very interesting regarding this kind of stuff, is what very obviously appears to be this strange and chilling identification with the demonic. I am not particularly very religious myself, even though, I used to be as a kid, (and that is besides the point); But "they" definitely seem to believe in it; And therefore, seem to actually make a deliberately conscious choice, by an act of their own free-will, to choose evil over good, and malice over compassion; As well as, darkness, instead of light; Deceitfulness, over the truth; Death, instead of life, etc. (You get the picture). And it would seem to me, therefore, making a conscious choice to deliberately open themselves up to some kind of deeply negative influence; With the bizarre personality traits that are usually associated with it. Being a student of psychology myself, (as well as business, and music, science, etc.), in relation to how it effects our world, I have found this type of psychology to be the most dangerous. I mean, (for whatever it's worth) it's sort of like a "no-brainer". Whether or not, you believe in God, the devil, heaven and hell, etc. You see, they believe in it! And what they are saying, whether through their music, actions, words, or whatever; That they, believe in good and evil, God and the Devil, and heaven and hell. If you will. And they, willingly choose hell! And it gets that much more dangerous, when it goes beyond the kid level, and is embraced by adults. With influence, and authority, no less! If you know what I mean? But I'll leave it that, for now. (Although, I know what I mean. In fact, out of all my blog posts, let's see if they post any comments here, on this one. Shall we? That's how well, I unfortunately know this type of psychology. It's like a magnet. Wait and see).
But, whatever the case may be, may God be with, and comfort the families of the victims of this very disturbing crime; And raise-up truly good (and wise) people in this world, who will expose and set-up a standard (and hedge of protection) against such things...
Now, let's see. Are there any comments? Surprise, there are!!! You think, they're focused on this particular blog post? And are particularly, how can ya' put it? Sort of like, "fascinated" with me? In a sick, twisted, sort of way, that is? Naaaa. Yea, right.
Once again, "it's always the way"...

Update (09/23/09): I checked-out the website again today to see if it had been taken down. Because once again, "it's always the way". (With all due respect to the families of the victims who may have found it very offensive and who have every right to want it taken down. If that is the case). However, it often seems to be some kind of pattern, in cases like this, for some reason; It would seem to me. Hopefully, not to cover-up a very serious crime, that other people should have every right to know about, and be aware of. The site itself, does not look like it has been taken down at this time. However, I do find it very curious that the songs (which would be a very key piece of evidence) seem to have been deleted from the website's music player! (As of now). I heard these songs myself, and they are extremely disturbing, and I believe should have been left intact, because not only are they an important piece of evidence, but once again, other people have a right to know what is going on, and to be able to hold law enforcement's "feet to the fire", if you will.
I mean, why would anyone want to deliberately hide this from the public, in the first place? Unless, there was something else going on? Let's hope that is not really the case. But let me just say this much, once again, from experience; That, I would not be surprised, if that is exactly what is going on. (And I have seen more then one cover-up, in my lifetime).
Once again, let's hope that is not really the reason the songs seem to have disappeared. Because, the lyrics were VERY explicit, and very detailed; As well as, being very graphic. For whatever it's worth, I posted one of the photo URLs here, so the reader can see for themselves, (before the website is possibly taken down). Next, let's see what happens to this story. (If anything). Again, as I started out in this particular blog post, I want to see if there is not a pattern in some way, regarding the usual covering-up of this particular kind of creepy stuff. I have my own reasons for wanting to know. Here, is one of the photos from this guy's MySpace website. Defiinately not playing with a full-deck, if you ask me...

Senator Sanders Unfiltered: It's Still a Recession, Stupid

This is the latest from 'Senator Sanders Unfiltered', presented by 'Brave New Films'. This weeks topic is about how many Americans are still feeling the effects of a recession which our leaders insist is almost over. Senator Sanders makes allot of very compelling points in this video, as he talks about "the greed, the irresponsibility, and the illegal behavior of people on Wall Street" that have caused the greatest economic crisis since the Great Depression.

Rethink Afghanistan: Join the Movement to Stop this War

Here is currently the latest promotional video from the 'Brave New Foundation' for the 'Rethink Afghanistan' film, which is now available in its entirety on DVD. I totally agree with the premise in this film. Mainly, that the war in Afghanistan is complete and total bullsh*t! And that we probably should not even be there. (At least, not as an occupying and invading power). If anyone would like to obtain more information on how to purchase the DVD, or how to get two free tickets to the screening of the NYC premiere, or other information in relation to hosting a screening of the film yourself. Or, just to get more information on the subject, the website address is: http://rethinkafghanistan.com/

The Private Mandate Sausage Machine

Being subscribed to Dennis Kucinich's MySpace blog, I usually receive e-mail notifications from MySpace whenever he has a new post. Here is currently his most recent. Verbatim. It was posted on Sept. 15th. It seems to be a kind of cynical take on the health care reform bill that is currently being negotiated in the Senate Finance Committee. And I say that, with no disrespect to Rep. Kucinich. He seems to be one of those rather (unfortunately) few sincere lawmakers in Washington who really takes his job seriously, and who has been fighting hard to get a "real" health care reform bill passed, that would not be an insult to the ordinary American citizen. A bill that really benefits and helps people! He has been in politics and a member of Congress for quite some time now, and if anyone knows how Washington works on the inside, it is him. Here is that blog post...

"Dear Friends, It is said one should not ask how sausage or laws are made. Are you concerned about a public option? Let me share with you some insight about health care legislation which may not be good for your health.A lesson in politics. The Kucinich Prediction: Here's what's going to happen ...
House will make a big deal about keeping/putting a public option in HR3200 because it competes with insurance companies and will keep insurance rates low.
The White House will refer to the President's speech last week where he spoke favorably of the public option.
The Senate will kill the competitive public option in favor of non-competitive "co-ops". Senate leaders like Kent Conrad have said the votes to pass a public option were never there in the Senate.
The bill will come to a House-Senate Conference Committee without the public option.
House Democrats will be told to support the conference report on the legislation to support the President.
The bill will pass, not with a "public option" but with a private mandate requiring 30 million uninsured to buy private health insurance (if one doesn't already have it). If you are broke, you may get a subsidy. If you are not broke, you will get a fine if you do not purchase insurance. This legislative sausage will be celebrated as a new breakthrough and will be packaged as health insurance reform. However, the bill may require a Surgeon General's warning label: Your Money or Your Life! The bill that Congress passes may pale in comparison to the bill that millions of Americans get every month for having or not having private health insurance. It will take four years for the new legislation to go into effect. During that time we are going to build a constituency of millions in support of real health care, a constituency which will be recognized and a cause which is right and just: Health Care as a Civil Right. Join our efforts. Sign the petition. Contribute. Insure a democratic future. Thank you."

-There is also a link on his blog, if you would like to sign the petition in support of "real health care". Or, you can visit his website at: kucinich.us

Robert Reich Public Option Video

Well, to sum-up this whole thing regarding what I believe is one of the most important issues facing this country today, I am posting this video here of Robert Reich speaking directly on what the 'public option' is and why it is so important to "real" health care reform. Once again, in my opinion it should be a "no brainer!"

Rachel Maddow GOP on Health Care, more refusal than reform

I think Rachel Maddow, of MSNBC's 'The Rachel Maddow Show' is an absolutely brilliant investigative reporter. She is great at uncovering the truth and the real motivation behind things, as is obvious in these series of videos that I have posted here; And in relation to some of the very disturbing events that have transpired this summer, during many of the Town Hall meetings regarding Health Care Reform...

Inquiry on Graft in Iraq Focuses on U.S. Officers - NYTimes.com

I have always believed that then President Bush's military advisors (including the Secretary of The Defense at the time, Donald Rumsfeld) were instrumental in a major way to get the United States into an unprovoked invasion of Iraq after the events of 9/11/2001...
Because of the fact that it was a criminal and unprovoked attack on a nation that was in no way any threat to this country in the first place, the massive corruption that had subsequently ensued and which was being reported by only about a handful of honest journalists at the time (like some of the brilliant articles that were coming from Matt Taibbi of Rolling Stone magazine) was therefore no surprise to me...I believe the article printed in the New York Times today is only the tip of the iceberg. Allot more is going to have to be done if this country is ever going to fully recover and heal from this unprecedented monumental disaster!

Diry Trickster Steele Is New RNC Chair

I had recently recieved an e-mail in regards to a very interesting article posted by John Nichols (Washington Correspondent from "The Nation") and the Progressive Democrats of America, about the former lieutenant governor of Maryland, Michael Steele becoming the new chairman of the Republican National Committee. (The title of this blog post, is not mine). With all due respect to Mr. Steele, here is that article...

When Michael Steele ran for Maryland's open US Senate in 2006, his backers hired 300 mostly poor African Americans from Philadelphia -- most if not all of them unemployed, many of them homeless -- fed them donuts and then packed the crew onto Trailways buses for an Election Day trip that would make a bit of political history.
The buses, which were draped in banners for Steele and then-Maryland Governor Robert Ehrlich, headed across the state line into Maryland, where the day laborers were dispatched to predominantly African-American neighborhoods of the city of Baltimore and populous Prince George's County.
They spent Election Day handing out glossy fliers headlined "Democratic Sample Ballot" or "Official Voter Guide." The fliers employed the phrase "Ehrlich-Steele Democrats." And they featured images of prominent African Americans, such as former Democratic congressman and NAACP leader Kweisi Mfume, above the words: "These are our choices."
The implication that Mfume and other popular Democrats in the state were backing Steele, and Ehrlich, was hard to miss.
But Mfume wasn't backing the "Ehrlich-Steele Democrats"
Steele and Ehrlich weren't running as Democrats. Both men were Republicans. And, despite what the group Progressive Maryland described as a campaign of "Lies, Dirty Tricks, and Fraudulent Fliers Designed to Deceive African American Voters," they both lost. Now, however, one of them, Steele, is the new chairman of the Republican National Committee. The former lieutenant governor of Maryland, who has long been a favorite Republican commentator on Fox News and other conservative programs, won the backing of committee members who gathered in Washington Friday after promising to renew the sagging Grand Old Party. Steele, an arguably able political player who has for many years been one of the GOP's highest-profile African-American leaders, pitched himself for the chairmanship by suggesting that he could put a positive face on a party that has seemed in recent years to be more interested in circling the conservative wagons than in attracting new voters. Steele promises to engage in "outreach." But what will the outreach look like? What sort of politics will Steele practice as RNC chair? If past is prologue, this 2006 article from the Washington Post may prove instructive. As Post writers Matthew Mosk and Avis Thomas-Lester noted: "Republican leaders have defended the Election Day episode as an accepted element of bare-knuckle politics. But for many voters, it shattered in one day the nice-guy images Ehrlich and Steele had cultivated for years." Maryland Governor Martin O'Malley was blunter: "I think it's pretty low that Ehrlich and Steele would print up a fake ballot and bus in unemployed people and exploit them. It doesn't get much lower than that."
