The New Era - Loch Lomond Suite (Music Video II)

Yea, the American Corporate Media has become a HUGE problem...
It makes you cringe in expectation as to what story they are going peddle next.
(They are basically owned by only about 6 corporations now, and since Bill Clinton signed into law the Telecommunications Act of 1996). It's sorta' like, in the movie Network (all those years ago) where the acclaimed anchor Howard Beale was killed because of falling ratings! Like many of our politicians, our media is now mostly beholden to their corporate donors and sponsors and what gets the most ratings, as opposed to uncovering the truth and promoting peace for instance. And it very well may just be another sad example of a nation in decline. (But I hope not myself). Once again, decent people have to wake up. (Which is why allot of people get their news from YouTube and Social Media now, like in this video commentary from Jimmy Dore).
In other words, its all about greed now. (Instead of Integrity). For the most part anyway...
Disclaimer: Just want to say, that I do not necessarily agree with EVERYTHING Jimmy Dore says either. But on this point, for example, I strongly believe he is RIGHT ON!
He's got to stop the tongue thing though (in my opinion) it makes him look a little unbalanced. Its like someone who just told you something that blows your mind, and then like, starts scratching their ass or something! It makes you go: "Noo. Aagghh!!!"
(Similar thing with Gerald Celente for instance, who often says things that just makes you cringe, after just saying something else that makes you go wow). Sorry Jimmy.
No offense. Just some constructive criticism there...

The New Era - Sweet Madonna (Introductory Demo)

This was initially created in honor of Mothers Day...

This demo track was recorded back in 2004 on my Boss BR-864 Portable Digital Studio; being somewhat influenced and inspired by a few things, to include the songs: 'Lady Madonna', by The Beatles, and 'Woman In Chains', by Tears for Fears. As well as, the story book character: Lady of Lothlorien, from The Hobbit and The Lord of The Rings fantasy works, by J.R.R. Tolkien.
It also does have some influence in there as well, in relation to the (alleged) apparitions of Mary (which I always thought were kind of interesting, from my Catholic School days) to create a sorta' like fantasy, children's fairy tale type story line, in the same spirit of the Tolkien works noted here; and in a somewhat similar vein as some of the musical works by the band Genesis...

The New Era - Allies

This track, was somewhat influenced in part, by a book written by David Wilcock called:
The Ascension Mysteries...

Billie Eilish - Everything I Wanted

Just heard this in my car. Great track. Big surprise...
Music Video IS kinda' dark though, and a little weird, I have to say. But, that is sorta' like a reflection of the Entertainment Industry itself, in a way, where it like targets a certain kind of demographic following; and some artists (and their promoters) may use that to their advantage, and as part of their marketing strategy. Just sayin'...
But yea, never-the-less, it is a surprisingly beautiful track for sure, with a kind of ethereally unique sound...

Very interesting. Very cute...

Local Natives - Another Relatively Unknown Indie Band...

Recently heard this track on a local radio station as well (no pun intended) and thought it was surprisingly good, and at least worth bookmarking somewhere...

How Billie Eilish's Bad Guy Works | Artists Series S3E1

One thing that I found particularly interesting (for more reasons then one) in relation to this video, and regarding this particular Indie artist, were the comments on YouTube about Billie Eilish recording this specific track, and at least some of her other songs, in her bedroom. (That may not necessarily include the mixing and mastering part of it though). From what I understand, with all the changes in the Music Industry, and with allot of the online services available today, and all the advances in digital recording technology for instance, this has become increasingly more common these days, especially with Independent Artists and musicians...

Rita Wilson - Bigger Picture

I like this. Beautiful track. Brilliant lyrics. As I get older myself, I reflect on and attempt to find the meaning of things in a deeper and sometimes even melancholy way. I think this song perfectly captures that feeling...

The Neal Morse Band - A Love That Never Dies

Heard this track for the first time on a local IndieMusic radio station a few months back...

Angel Olsen - Lark

From what I understand, this music video begins in the mountains around Asheville, North Carolina and ends on the Outer Banks. Interesting sound. Totally unique style. Very etheral and deep. Fantastic music video. She's like a visionary artist...

SYML - Where's My Love [Official Video]

Nice (and interestingly unique) track, that I just came across on Spotify.
Very sad music video though...
