Michael Moore on his support for Assange

Filmaker and author Michael Moore talks with Rachel Maddow about his support for WikiLeaks' Julian Assange and the seriousness with which he takes the rape charges against Assange. My own opinion, is that the guy very-well may have been set-up. Especially, since the women who it was reported allegedly made the charges in the first place, have since come-out publically, and have seemingly indicated that they were intimidated, and co-erced, in some way. And that they did have some kind of platonic relationship with him, that was mutual. I mean, it shouldn't take a rocket scientist to figure-out, exactly why Assange could have possibly been set-up, and the victim of false accusations, to discredit him, in some way. And that is not to indicate myself, that I necessarily agree with some of the methods he used in obtaining certain propriatary information; As long as the information is obtained legally, in the same manner as any credible, legitimate, investigative journalist. WikiRebels - The Documentary (1/4)

Just want to make something clear here. I am not a proponent of hacking into "classified" information, or the like. And certainly believe that anyone who does that to commit crimes, such as in stealing personal information, like social security numbers, and the like, should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. With that said however, in doing my own research on 'WikiLeaks' (because of some of the damning information that has been exposed about some of the corruption within our own government) I now know that is definately not what they are about. (In fact, just the opposite seems to be true). This is a fascinating documentary. Check it out...
